Australian bishop appointed by pope to senior Vatican role

Anthony Randazzo, the bishop of Broken Bay, which since 2019 covers Sydney’s northern regions and the central coast, receives the personal title of archbishop and is named as Prefect of the Dicastery for Legislative Texts.
