Mary Simon says serving as Governor General was the 'honour of a lifetime'
It was the “honour of a lifetime” to serve as the representative of the Crown in Canada for the past five years, outgoing Gov. Gen. Mary Simon said in a speech to parliamentarians on Wednesday.
