Rattlesnakes abound: Record number of snakes removed in Lethbridge this year
Through the City of Lethbridge’s long-running rattlesnake mitigation program, snakes are moved from public property to their permanent natural habitat, such as their den site, wintering or birthing grounds. As of Oct. 8, there had been 211 snakes moved in 2026.
