Mallikarjun Kharge, BJP slug it out after Congress chief calls for ban on RSS

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge called for a ban on the RSS, citing Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s decision and accusing the organization of endangering national unity. The BJP countered by recalling Patel and Mahatma Gandhi’s praise for the RSS, accusing Kharge of echoing fundamentalist groups.
