10 years since MAID legalized in Quebec, woman who fought to expand it hopes Canada catches up
Diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in her late 30s, Sandra Demontigny pushed Quebec to allow advanced requests for MAID. While Quebec has become a leader internationally for the practice over the past decade, she hopes others keep up the fight in the rest of Canada.
