Manitoba man stitches up funds for food bank with bags made from throwaways
A Steinbach man is turning trash into treasure by using discarded furniture swatches to create high-quality bags. The bags are sold for $5 in Steinbach and Thunder Bay, with 100 per cent of proceeds going to his local food bank.
