Man accused of shooting officer in Welland, Ont., remains in hospital, Niagara police say
Police in Niagara Region say a man who was arrested and injured by gunfire after an officer was shot Friday in Welland, Ont., remains in hospital and will likely face further charges as the province’s police watchdog continues to investigate.
