‘Very unique’: Pod of killer whales seen rubbing bellies on rocks off B.C.'s Sunshine Coast

People at a beach on the Sunshine Cost were left awestruck after watching a pod of killer whales swim close to the shore. Amongst all of the different killer whale populations around the world, few have been observed performing the rare activity, says cetology expert.
