Just five DNA letters flip chromatin from fluid to solid-like state

New research has found that the way the genome is organised can arise from chromatin’s own physics, without needing extra instructions; by slightly changing nucleosome spacing, researchers were able to flip chromatin between an open, tough state and a  fluid state
