Paulatuk using acoustic tags to track whereabouts of Arctic char amid changing climate
The Paulatuk Hunters and Trappers Committee and Fisheries and Oceans Canada implanted acoustic tags in nearly 40 Arctic char this past summer. The intent is to better understand where char are spending their time and when they’re migrating, as they respond to a shifting climate.
