U.S. speed skating star Jordan Stolz lowers Olympic mark in 1,000m gold-medal performance
Jordan Stolz of the United States needed to hold off on celebrating until another speed skater got the chance for a re-skate, then soon enough was able to smile while leaning forward to receive his gold for winning the men’s 1,000 metres at the Milan-Cortina Games in an Olympic-record one minute 6.28 seconds.
