Abu Dhabi impose strict new penalties for under-21 drivers: 6-month suspension or permanent licence loss

Abu Dhabi Police have introduced strict penalties for probationary drivers under 21 who reach 24 black points, including a six-month suspension or full licence cancellation for repeat offences. Offenders can also pay AED 2,400 to attend a one-day rehabilitation course. The measures, part of the Federal Traffic Law, aim to reform driving behaviour and improve road safety.
