Canada, Ukraine forge 100-year pact built on drones and defence
Canada and Ukraine signed a sweeping 100-year partnership on Thursday that puts defence production at its core. Ottawa plans to build millions of drones, pairing Canadian firms with Ukraine’s battle-tested industry, while expanding co-operation on counter-drone technology, munitions and AI. Canada also pledged new funding for air defence and energy security.
