First budget-related confidence vote expected Thursday in House of Commons
Members of Parliament will have their first chance to cast a budget-related vote on Thursday when they vote on a Conservative sub-amendment to a Bloc Québécois amendment to the budget bill. The government says it’s considering the vote a matter of confidence.
