Anisabeth Kaiya Danis Waswa-Rae of North Caribou Lake First Nation in northwestern Ontario was used to making saves as a goaltender from the time she was six years old. Now, the 18-year-old, who went by Kaiya, is being honoured for helping save several lives through her desire to become an organ donor.
