Pakistan’s government plans to introduce the 27th Constitutional Amendment, including changes to the command of the armed forces and Article 243. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar confirmed the amendment will be tabled soon, aiming to strengthen the military’s role. The proposal also includes establishing a constitutional court and altering resource distribution.
