Playoff-bound Canadian men's curlers defeat Olympic hosts Italy, overcoming slow start
Canada’s Brad Jacobs tuned up for the men’s curling playoffs Wednesday with an 8-3 victory over Joel Retornaz of host Italy at the Winter Olympics. On the women’s side, Rachel Homan improved her playoff chances at the Winter Olympics with an 8-7 extra-end victory over Italy’s Stefania Constantini.
