Saab says Canada's air force could have Gripen fighter jets in as little as 3 years
The Royal Canadian Air Force could be flying brand-new Gripen-E fighters within three to five years, the CEO of Saab said. Micael Johansson raised the stakes in the political and corporate battle over the future of Canada’s warplanes, saying the company was ready to establish a manufacturing, assembly and research facility in the country should there be a deal.
