Senior RCMP officer's 'no evidence' comment about India seems to contradict past statements
RCMP Deputy Commissioner Lisa Moreland says there is “no evidence” to link Indian government officials to crimes committed by Indian gangs that were investigated by U.S. and Canadian law enforcement, including the assassination of Sikh activist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. That claim contradicts numerous past statements by other Canadian officials, including former prime minister Justin Trudeau and the RCMP’s commissioner.
