Tim Walz scraps Minnesota re-election campaign amid state fraud scandals

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is ending his bid for a third term, less than four months after announcing his reelection campaign. Walz was the Democratic vice-presidential nominee during the 2024 election campaign.
