Winter session: MP makes a statement with a stray, sets off a dogfight


Congress MP Renuka Chowdhury brought a rescued stray dog to Parliament, stating “Those sitting inside Parliament bite, dogs don’t.” She claimed the government dislikes animals. Union minister Ramdas Athawale retorted, “You keep bringing ‘kutta’ here and we will continue to get ‘satta’.” BJP MP Jagdambika Pal accused Chowdhury of “tamasha” and violating protocol.
